Shipping parts- new way to me. Thought I’d share.

The "seller" sends the "buyer" the shipping quote to get the parts from point A, to point B. If the buyer agrees on the shipping cost, pays the seller for it, the seller then goes to his Pirate Ship account, and prints out the shipping label. Pirate Ship will have the sellers account information...

    Leaf spring question

Are you looking to save weight for competition or ride quality? If it's for competition you can eliminate the leaf springs entirely and go with a 4 link set up. If it's ride quality your after then you can go with a air ride system. I don't know how much carbon leaf springs would be but I'm sure...

Some dyno testing you guys may want to follow on YouTube

Just a quick dyno question I have for some dyno results and I wish I knew the manufacturer of the drive on dyno but I Dont. If a test was done and he came up with let’s say 580 horsepower how many horsepower would this be on an engine dyno.

BF Goodrich radial T/A white letters

They have in the past. The last pair of 255/60 15's didn't like the first pair I had. I contacted BFG and they didn't really admit to the problem but they said the tires could be warrantied. I had bought them from Summit and they didn't want to handle the issue. Neither did the local BFG dealer...

Thinking of moving to Florida in the next year

Thanks everyone for the responses so far. My wife really hates the cold. She said if we are going to make a big move, she wanted somewhere warm. I suggested AZ, but I am not sure my son can handle that kind of heat, but I don't know since I have never been.

Some dyno testing you guys may want to follow on YouTube

That’s assuming they are building the engines right. Most guys don’t use near enough compression. And they don’t tune well. As you add up the errors it becomes obvious testing and doing it correctly costs a huge amount of money and takes time. Not all testing is good testing.

Shipping parts- new way to me. Thought I’d share.

I don't know how this actually works but doesn't the person who's buying pay for the shipping cost? Do the part(s) and shipping get paid for ahead of time? Curious on how this is done

    Leaf spring question

I've looked at fiberglass and carbon fiber leaf springs to save weight. Problem is, they break, and they're mono leaf. Do people ever run a steel single main leaf with fiberglass or carbon fiber leaves for the rest of the stack? No breaky breaky but still lighter than a pile of steel.

Thinking of moving to Florida in the next year

I completely understand your situation, I moved from Colorado to Georgia just about a year ago for similar reasons and am much happier here. I wouldn't rule out GA, less hazards for hurricane stuff and cost of living is very low. Just stay away from Atlanta, obviously. The Carolinas are nice...

BF Goodrich radial T/A white letters

Have a bottle, didn’t work. Also tried Comet and an aggressive scrub brush. I noticed the brown color when I picked up the car from tire store but just figured they forgot to clean them. The letters were just stained from the factory, I guess.

BF Goodrich radial T/A white letters

Just put "brown letters" in the FABO search box. You'll have so many hits! I've had so many BFGs with the letters turning brown, I'm afraid to take the blue off of these 2 year old ones. Yet the older ones on my 70 Dart are just fine, but too old to safely drive on. 65 Dart fronts, 2 years old...

Oh hell yeah! The script and the acting was pretty crappy, but the action was fantastic, no cgi bullshit, it was all real, and some was unplanned. The scene where the Mustang spins out on the freeway and hits the light pole was not part of the script, but they kept it in the final edit. I have...
