Teens are utilitarian. THey were used in A bodies, B bodies, even C bodies. E, F,M,and J. Pick ups, trucks, motor homes, and even boats. Almost every one of those had a 2 barrel on top and made enough power and torque to get the job done. Hell, they were even in Police Cars in the M bodies. Like...

Front and rear screen seals - quality matters

Sorry I should have put year - it’s a ‘68 2dr. I was looking on the Dante page and whilst the front is 139 or 169, the rear is 100+ more. By the stiff state of the rubbers front and rear and the delamination of the front screen, if they aren’t original they’re very old - and muddy under the...

    Headlight Relay Kits

Just be aware… those kits are made with 16 ga. Wire…tried one on my Dart with PIAA halogen bulbs…30 secs and the wires were warm to the touch. I’d stay away!

best hi flow ex manifold/drivers side

I fit an early 340 exhaust manifold on the driver's side by switching to a power steering column and using an adapter (Firm Feel, etc) to hook it to the manual steering box. That put the joint far enough back to clear the manifold. I ran the outlet pipe between the torsion bar and the frame...

I looked on the eBay’s link, it doesn’t say anything about if it would work on a four headlight system, do you know if it would?

    Electric guitar...

After waiting 2 weeks for them to ship my guitar, they canceled my order So I went with a British guitar called "Harlem X" (I figured, if the greatest metal band in history is British, maybe me playing a British guitar might help) I absolutely love the way this thing looks, and fits in my...

Front and rear screen seals - quality matters

Just guessing here, but with a super expensive rear piece, it must be a 65/66 hard top? If so, the rear is not being reproduced for either year as far as I know. But I would use Steele Rubber products for the front, and pray like hell the rear can be reused. If it’s any other year, Steele is...

Don't some mill some off the manifold flange to gain room ? Angle mill it ? Not sure kind of remember people doing/saying that. I wouldn't do any engine or suspension moving to make it fit, what are we talking power wise an hp or two, I know all the little gains add up, but I wouldn't do...

Sloppy Steering in '65 Valiant Manual Box

Update: Neither my local bolt/nut fastener specialty store sells castle nuts and neither does local Auto Zone. In fact, I see the Centrix brand of idler arm (sold by Rock Auto) does not even use castle nuts and cotter pins anymore (according to the photo), just a "locking nut" alone. No thanks...

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

A few more interesting photos. Lol. So I remember my dad sideswiping a tree when I was younger and caving the passenger side door in. When I picked up the car, it had a brown door on it. I asked the hydro guy if he put it on there and he said that he didn’t. So the lady who bought it from my dad...

NOPE! For some odd reason, large, man-made objects in water (dams, jetties, large props, etc) give me the creeps! I can swim in the ocean just fine, but bring a large-ish boat next to me while doing so, or ask me to go diving on a wreck... Again: NOPE!
