Just realized that as well about the pad from a wanted ad then looked at my unmolested dart that also has one. That was a pretty cool didn’t know that either. Unfortunately I didn’t have pictures as of now hopefully the OP can share.
depends what you want.
if you are going to put the a/c back on then atleast hang the compressor and get the pulleys and belt routing correct.
if you don't plan on putting the a/c back on then get the proper non-a/c pulleys and brackets.
Ok thank you, I think I understand what you mean. So would it be prudent to buy everything you say AND get the air conditioning operational? I ask because again I do have air conditioning system, but not the condenser.
Sorry, haven’t been in at fabo for a while. Unfortunately the seat covers was cracked and the guy who did the upholstery didn’t ask my son if he would like to have them back.
I'm sure the alt. did not come with brackets.
what I'm saying is that motor has air conditioning pulleys on it. its why the belt is riding on the front pulley of the alt. the belts are also routed wrong.
if the new alt only has a single pulley as pictured then the belt will not line...
I like dyno and flow bench stuff the guys who port 318 heads just to say they were ported I figure its a waste of time without proof that it actually worked.
Accurate exhaust should have stock head pipes also. They are 1 7/8 inch I believe probably not ideal for a header application you'd probably want to go 2 inch up to 2 1/4 or 2 1/2...
I was in a band covering that song right before COVID. The drummer got all woke said "we shouldn't play that people will get offended..." I said "Its just a classic rock song man..." yeah band didn't last too long after that...don't mix politics and rock n roll man...:)
