    No, My comparison was to the 48* stocker. Well that's the thing, the V/P at 116 is already at lawnmower status. 51* "only" drops it to 112. Now pump the 8/1 engine up to 10/1 and run the stock cam at 48*Ica, and the pressure goes to 186psi and V/P to 155, now you got a chitload of bottom end...

    TTi makes headpipes for the 340 manifolds, but they don't have collector flanges on them. You could add the flanges to the headpipes or leave them off the exhaust system and just hook them up with slipjoints. They're kinda pricey for what they are, though. I would think a local exhaust shop...

    A 4 cylinder based on half a big block would be interesting, don't know how/why it's a 318 replacement. Problem with 4/6 cylinders less intake/exhaust ports, less overall flow. But a TF/B1 headed 4 cylinder be kool :)

    We had some cool, breezy, low humidity weather today. So i took advantage and primed and painted the edges of the doors so I can proceed with mounting them. I had extra paint in the gun, so I went ahead and painted the interior panels also.

    As was stated earlier, all housings are the same from 78 back. 1970 - 340 housing is correct. Chrysler #3698565 or Four Seasons #84830.

    I don't thing there is an adapter but you can but the 2 1/4 flange: TTI Exhaust Collector Flange

    Not a fan of clear.. but definitely hit it with something.. don't leave it bare. I used regular engine enamel on mine and it's still holding up fine.

    Measure your fuel pressure at the carb input and see what you have. An electric could easily put out enough to give you this problem.

    I'm just about ready for 1st fire up, engine is on run stand. Running the 340 hipo manifolds. I have this "header back" kit from Summit https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-680144 Is there an adapter that mounts the stock manifold to 3 hole header plate? Thanks Steve

    My experience new fuel pumps will put out 8-12 PSI and rumors are Hollys are sensitive to fuel pressure. I used Daytonas on my dual carb setup which are Holly knockoffs from Argentina. They would occasionally flood over at idle. I found an original rebuildable Carter pump, bought a rebuild kit...

    I started using a water based fluid made in Canada. I can’t think of the name of it any more but it gave a mirror finish and no heat, even doing back cuts or converting 45 seats to 50’s. Also made grinding Ti valves much much nicer.
