It's a standing joke about cowl induction scoops on cars other than Chevys. They make your Dart or Scamp look like a Nova and the like.

Maybe black phosphate. I’ve had some of my parts Black phosphated, It’s not the same black. I have had few NOS ones and some very Low mileage cars. So is it black phosphate not 100% sold

    71 Duster 360 turbo build

What are your valve spring pressures? What’s the cam look like? I have confidence in my lifters. At least more in them than my valve springs at the moment. I’ve never had a small block that could turn more than 6k rpm so there is a significant possibility I’m doing something very wrong.

I'm retired but the extra income from working part time is nice. I have a 63 Plymouth Fury convertible coming into my shop sometime this summer To get ready for paint so I won't be working part time in the Bodyshop anymore, I think.

    "gripper pattern" u bolt question

The originals were flat with a knurl. Many replacements are just round stock. Not a problem at all. Just torque them to spec which is pretty light. Someone will chime in with the spec I'm sure. You don't want to crush or distort the axle tubes.

New Mopar Owner Here - 1972 Duster

Hi Brad Do you know where this Duster come from? It seems to be an export car. There is an "I" on the fender tag for International. My Demon, made in Hamtramck, and exported to Belgium in 1971, also has this "I" on the fender tag. U = United States C = Canada I = International (rest of the...

    "gripper pattern" u bolt question

for an 8&3/4. I have a set of ubolts from Mancini that have the flattened side on the inside of the radius but they were not long enough. I just ordered a set of longer ones but they do not have this flattened area, mancini calls it a gripper pattern & said that these will not present a problem...

    Bushing sleeve

I'm guessing its something I did wrong... if I torqued the pins after everything was on the ground and close to ride height, it seems to me the only thing that could be pushing the opposite direction is the strut bar. They are just stock bars with one piece bushings. Maybe I torqued the pins...
