I traded a near new Marlin 30-30 lever rifle that I got at Montgomery Wards for like $125. The Mossberg was $250 and still in the box

    Classic Air Glove Box Fix

Ha ha, not looking for famous or YouTube money either one. Just hoping to give someone thinking of doing the job a heads up on what they might be getting themselves into. But thanks for checking it out. I wouldn’t mind a subscription if you feel inclined. Mopars4us on YouTube. I have a fuse...

When my daughter started shooting sporting clays she was in 5th grade. She started on a 20 gauge pump mossberg. They aren’t too shabby. It was reliable and before the season was over she cycled that thing pretty quick. It’s a good old reliable.

    How to mount headlight switch?

Yes, the knob and shaft are one piece with the headlight switch. The wiper knob comes off it's shaft by loosening an allen head set screw.

Hello from north Florida! Looking for more Mopar buddies in the sunshine state!

I think they call from Pamama City Beach to Pensacola Beach the Emerald Coast because the water is a greenish color and the sand is white. Many folks call it the "Redneck Rivera". :D Thank you for your service! I was stationed at Biloxi in the Air Force many years ago. Now I'm working at...

I had a similar experience with a Youth Model Mossberg that I traded into. Went to the range with my boss. I had never shot clay before. Got 20 in my first round. Bass says "Gimme that! WTF is this? 20Ga?" He took and got 22. That 500 was short and light, 20 ga little recoil :D

I love it. They definitely should have heckled you. If they didn’t I would have been disappointed. I know from watching my kids coach he gives them hell any chance he gets and it’s so funny to see the banter. Especially amongst the high school kids.

[WANTED] 10 X 2.5 in rear drum brake assemblies for 8.75 diff.

Probably because most of the 70's cars with 8 3/4 rears had 11" rear brakes, I am not sure I have seen one that didn't except for the original A body 8 3/4's that used special narrower brakes and drums

You would have laughed Steph. So I took out the new shotgun at youth practice last night. The one I bought that would not shoot so I rebuilt all the internals. So I am approaching the line at the end of practice wondering if the thing will even go off, much less worry about hitting anything. I...

Yellowstone is not bad. I have many bottles but most are barrel picks. The highest proof is 119 but it doesn't drink hot. I had an early bottle of Whistle Pig that was phenomenal. I have a bought a few since then that are less than stellar. You won't know until you open it and sip on it until...

    Vacuum Secondary Conversion

I’ll say it again. An aluminum head has no more detonation resistance than an iron head. You can use pump gas and 12:1 compression but you have to relearn how to tune and set up the engine. Never let anyone tell you how to do unorthodox compression ratios and pump gas when they have never done...

The favorite hunk of meat for the pit round here, Tri Tip. We used to get them cheaper than hamburger. Heck it's the pointy end of the Sirloin. But no markets outside the Central Coast would buy them cuz they're not attractive to look at, so everywhere else they got ground up for hamburger...

Great write up thank you for taking the time to explain all this. I think I understand most of it. BTW the engine is in the car. I did have it running for a short time. I putt 3:55 gears in the rear. I am trying to get some incremental improvements prior to a complete rebuild. I know at some...

You might want to use some anti-seize compound on the pickup tube threads, but, it isn't required. It's pipe thread, so, self sealing.

I wish it was closer craigslist finds

Back in the late 70's, they used to have The Bug Bash at Greer Dragway in SC twice a year. First time I saw them, I just stood there with my mouth hung open because I had no idea a VW could be so fast. Most were Beetles with 4 cyl air cooled VW engines. The track limited them to the 1/8 mile...
