What was installed prior to wheel well sound Deadener? 71-2 Demon

I find that the bumpers were installed prior to undercoat. Front bumper brackets usually have overspray on the rear area. Pretty much any part in the general area of the wheel wells would be installed prior to undercoating. The rear axle rebound bumpers were undercoated, so were the front fender...

Best way to lift a slant 6 engine block ?

Hello all , I have my engine on a stand right now and will be installing it shortly . What is the easiest and safest way to lift it ? I had a chain under the block at the front and bolts in the bell housing for the back . It came out, but it was quite awkward and tilted a lot . I have not...

1968 Dodge Dart GT Sleeping Beauty?

Removed the stainless drip rails without messing them up. They needed to come off to remove the traces of the vinyl top. Drip rails were in excellent shape. Having the dart stored in a garage since 1987 (37 years saved this car from extensive rust) was a positive. The top even with little paint...

    Vacuum Secondary Conversion

What makes you think you lost performance retarding the timing a little? Fix what you have. You should have left the M1 on there and learned to tune it. Spark plug readers

Thread color does not indicate cylinder pressure. It gives you an idea if your plug heat range is close. 3-4 darker threads and you’re in the ball park. Not a concrete indicator.
