    Carburetor question

OH! By the way, I have a fairly hopped up 340, nothing special, stock rebuilt bottom end, 241@050 Hyd cam, CNC heads, RPM intake and headers, etc…. I’m using the 800 AVS Edelbrock. The stall and gear ratio are a bit steep for an everyday ride but it works really well.

    Carburetor question

You should be able to tell pretty easily whether it's a 340 or 416 by pulling one spark plug and getting a little creative.

    Suggested spark gap for .......

GTX John, What type of plug wires do you claim were 'going away', needed yearly replacement. What symptom of failure were you getting. I have spiral wound MSD wires, been on 20 yrs & see no deterioration with 060 plug gaps.

    Carburetor question

Roger that! The crystal ball comment was an inside joke between Rusty and the forum alone with the answer to what cam I should use with the answer being “750 ROLLER!” On a more tech note…. The old 440’s used in Imperial’s and the like huge boats used a small 600 AFB . It should also be noted...

Ship hit bridge, bridge crashes into water

They could of had a noisy generator or air compressor going and even a bull horn at the ends of the bridge couldn`t get through. sad

I have used HW sway bars, great product. They were considerably cheaper as well than some other brands.

    Carburetor question

@RustyRatRod is your crystal ball still broken? I loaned mine out and haven’t seen it since it was being misused in one of the Lord of the Rings movies. I’m pretty pissed about it.

Ship hit bridge, bridge crashes into water

I really can't, if you look at videos of minutes before the impact there were semi's and plenty of cars going across. I think a great job was done stopping traffic, but still get my head around why the guys who were doing road repairs. Maybe since they were working they had no way of knowing?

Rear Deck Lid Spoiler for '67 Dart GT

Why can't I find even a picture of a Dart/Valiant 2 door with a rear deck lid spoiler? I have found some online for sale for A bodies, but when you google a '67 or '69 Dart GT for example, there are tons with the cross over stripe but not a one with a rear spoiler. I think the right spoiler would...

    If you're SURE it's a stroker, 800. Somehow I'm not reading certainty.

    Carburetor question

800 because a 650 is retarded to use on a 416 unless the rest of the build is or danm near OEM stock as a rock. The lack of information is staggering! A .540 cam lift is meaningless.

The sad truth is that it should not be this way, regardless of where they are from. Time will tell, but this seems to be an accident and unfortunately there will be victims.
