Stop in for a cup of coffee

The way I have always looked at it is there are alot of new sharp edges that have to blend in IE rings etc. I just have always taken it easy at first. After break in that think will scream, prob 6500 to be safe.

No RPM I know they made a 3000. for sure. Plugs into the msd and limits the RPM. Once broken it you can raise the limit great idea for a stick car. Just a pic they have a bunch of ranges. 500 miles should be fine. What did Sean recommend?

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yup great way to break in the rings and bearings. Then do a oil change. I would limit the rpm if you can. The MSD you have take a chip? I would say 2500 is a good break in mark for a big block.

I tend to go 500 miles trying to vary rpm. In town and country driving going thru the gears. Stay away from long highway constant rpm driving.

Manual everything and so much torque, it will take some getting used to. Just means I need to drive it a lot.
