Hemi Swapping a perfectly good 70 Duster

I don't have a prop valve since I run 4 wheel discs. But the lines do pass near the location of the stock valve. The car already had port EFI with a MS3X controller. It has an in tank pump in the Tanks Inc tank. I autocross regularly with varying levels of fuel and never once had a fuel...

Is it ok to copy a W5 head and make it better or are we just mad at Speedmaster

So after 5 pages I guess we can agree that it’s ok to bend the rules when it benefits us. Like I said earlier I would have been stuck running high 9’s for probably the rest of my life with stock parts that I had to throw on the scrap pile after three years. But my house and shop is full of...

    Air Tracker

I was curious, doesn't sound like it's worth it. Wanted something to tag my 3 cars and trailer. Maybe I am looking in the wrong direction. Was under the assumption that they could be tracked like a GPS in a phone, or airplane transponder.

Long stories are O.K. 66 is a great year. I always get caught up in that psycho babble of what you see first or own first but it's true. I like the 67 Barracuda the best but it may not be...it's just the first year I owned...a 66 273 4 gear 40 miles from home...I say you struck gold. Thanks for...

    Side Moulding 72 Demon question

I am in the process of purchasing a 1972 Demon 340. When it was restored the restorer put side stripes on it but the Demon is coded for the body side moulding. The question I have since 3m looks like they make a product today that is similar to the original moulding what width was the moulding...

Are My New 727 Clutches, Bands, or Fluid Burning?

Missing or broken return spring on the TP lever will cause varying degrees of late shifts at light throttle.

My full Silverado actually had a power adjust gas pedal. Very handy. I have noticed what certain manufacturers have the center console really tight toward the driver's right leg, which I think causes some limitations in being able to pivot/ rotate between accelerator and brake

    rear suspension lift

I'll try to make the story short. Back when I turned 50 I decided to get back in the car hobby. My first car was a 65 Dart but I really liked the look of the 64's. This 66 came up on E bay and it was only 40 min. from my house. Except for the year, it checked all the boxes. HP273, 4 speed, 8 3/4...

That's a nice Dart Mike. I always liked that year body styling. Those rims are perfect for the paint and trim on that particiular car. Is that your place in the background? It looks like Crescent City Illinois. LOL I always enjoy waking up to an ice cold mountain dew and walking out back to see...

    My Luck

The one on the right is Austen Matthews, the latest in a long line of 'superstars' to play for the team, and the other guy I think is Mitch Marner, another one of their top tier players. The sweater was very stylish in 1967.

I found the roundy round interesting in that we have always been told to give the right of way to the car to your right - not now, yield to someone from the left. Here I blame politics. I will not yield to the left. Sorry in advance Mike.

We have a lot happening here in town. I wondered why until I bought my Colorado pick up. The brake and gas pedals are too close together. I have stepped on the brake and hit the gas at the same time. The harder you try to stop the faster it rev's. The way you set in the seat, you don't think...

    Cheap 318 performance mods.

the "cracked" ones are fine to run, they never leak water where they crack between the seats, might be able to get some for really cheap, and they flow better than a 360 head, but with a small chamber for compression. 1.6 ratio rockers also give you more lift/flow out of the cam. IIRC 20 years...

Carb throttle idle screw not adjusting

What I would do is start disconnecting linkage parts until I found what was holding it open. If I didn’t find it doing that I would make sure the throttle plates inside the carb were centered when closed.
