'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

Weird thing about that comparison is that the Holley motor mounts move the motor forward 1.75" so I would have expected the Holley pan to have the sump slide back when compared to the Jeg's or similar pan. But it appears to be the opposite.

Dart Suddenly Shut Off & Won't Start

Didn't mean to "stir the pot" LOL ! Its just that I've gotten burned doing exactly as described. Fried my new in-dash tach by leaving the positive battery terminal loose and causing arcing when I moved it on the battery post.

'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

I don't recall if Denny's concern was the height, or the sump location. Picture above looks very close to the steering rack. However, eelier in his thread he mentioned the engine was as far forward as he can go (Denny's mounts are adjustable). I plant to put mine as far back as possible.

Another suggestion would be a factory replacement Charger/Challenger radiator and fan. Then you could run factory hoses and plumb in the factory 6.4 oil cooler, too. Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

    Parts Cache Value…

Oh and I don’t need anymore headaches right?! I’ll go buy a couple more racks to store parts on. I told him I’m wasn’t sure what some stuff was but a lot of stuff had boxes and or bags. He is a nice guy, just wants it all gone.
