Oh wow, I did not have to cut that much for my TKX! I wonder if the hemi has any influence on where the trans sits, compared to my small block.

...ebb the flow of the juice-- a bolt in the return and a fitting plug for the pressure (or a zip lock bag w/ a towel). swing back under there and pull the last bolt and try not to get hit in the face by the box. you *might* have to loosen the exhaust at the coupler drop the pipe and swing it...

    Best front suspension rebuild parts?

the quality of moog has gone down hill and some of their stuff is all over the place fit and finish wise. about the only thing i'd trust from moog is the offset upper control arm bushings (K7103), which i highly recommend. for lowers if you want poly, prothane, proforged, PST are all good...

    Are 340’s rare

I'm sure you could make changes to either one to "one up the other" He just said they had identical cams, same compression and were built with nearly identical specs. I think he was pretty disappointed...he is a Mopar guy. It would never matter to me because i don't race. As i said earlier i...

I like this idea. I know that there are adapter plates for the GM transmissions to fit behind just about anything. I'll have to look into it.

Maybe, problem is the threads are not exactly 90 degree, some have a little lean to them. I was thinking about threading some Allen set screws down and cementing them in. Then I can run bolts down and not worry about water coming in. Not sure the best solution right now.

[FOR SALE] Thermo Quad for parts

A 6545 is a 1974—1977 Dodge, Carter Thermoquad for a 440. The lack of emissions ports make this a very good hot rod carb. This is well worth the effort to rebuild & restore.

    1969 Valiant Diary

When I got home tonight it was still sunny and a comfortable 55*. I got the hood opened and cleaned up the trim tag. This car is as base as base can be. The only option was the 904 automatic transmission. I've never had a Chrysler product with a two line trim tag. My 1971 Sport Fury GT had a...
