    There are no gaskets made with this material? I've ordered 2 sets of Mahle MS12268 gaskets that are made with perforated metal. Wonder if it's the same material?

    hmm.. NOS regulator just showed up... shorts a short across the 12v>gnd but it actually turns out it's 15ohm which is prolly the value of the resistor.. which means my old one prolly wasn't bad but was burning off crap... well.. the new one is shiny at least :)
