best hi flow ex manifold/drivers side

I don’t believe any of those manifolds will fit into an early A body and clear the steering shaft and frame rail on the drivers side. Maybe a post from @Treblig can shed some light on this.

Once the stamped pan has been distorted it is hard for them to reseal. You won't have any issues with the cast one you got.

I even installed a drain plug in the stamped pan but the rubber gasket with the stamped pan didn't seal. Leaked like the Titanic. I also use the plastic dip around the shift cables (65 transmission) as they would tend to drip when sitting a while. Now that I have posted this, I expect red...

Yeah you have to pick your times for sure. The rubber neckers are the worst when there is an issue on the hwy. They just have to slow down and take a look....IDIOTS!!! Newmarket isn't it?

The stock pans worked well until the flange got distorted by over tightening. I too went aftermarket for more fluid capacity, but the real fix was the reusable gasket. Sure is nice to have a drain plug too!!!

    Vacuum Secondary Conversion

On the street, a vacuum advance is key to economy. Without it you're leaving a lot on the table. The vacuum canister on OE style distributors (like the MP one you have a picture of) can be adjusted. Others like the MSD are not adjustable at all.

    Wilwood upgrade

I'll bet the stock one you have would work but don't listen to me as I have not tried it. Just throwing it out there to see if someone has. I have Willwood up front and Ricks-mopar had some new old stock ones for sale years ago but looks similar to this one. Hard to see in pic. for Mopar B-Body...
