    I am putting together a 489 case I got. It was a bare case so I don't know what size shim was behind the pinion bearing. I have 3:55 going in with a power lok. What shim should I start with behind the pinion bearing? Just trying to get a close start Thanks

    yoke recommendation

    I bought everything to rebuild my rear .Got it all from the Dr D. But when the gears came I noticed the splines are different then what I had.I had 29 the new one is 10. So I need to order a new yoke. That's my question what yoke do you guys recommend and what u-joint? I have a 8 3/4 rear...
