    So many posts on junk 'B'' or 'L' cables, unadjustablilty, non stock appearance. Why not use the original rods? The 3 piece 65 seems so simple and has the adjustability built in. Seems you can mod the carb linkage with the Chrysler adapter if its not equipped with the lower mounting hole.

    What do you set first, the pinion depth or the carrier offset? 489 case using OEM crush sleeve. with a conical pinion gear shape, seems you could have quite a time finding the sweet spot for the pattern. I set carrier offset before but the pinion was not disturbed for carrier bearing replacement...

    Buddy over on EVBC has a 8.25 that had the bolt shear from the cross shaft and now he cant get the cross shaft out at all. He has hammered it both directions with a 4 lb sledge and a drift and it only goes about 1/8 inch in either direction and stops cold. what could be holding it in there...
