    Aftermarket axles, green bearings and thrust block

    So I have the usual problem of the green bearings keeping the axle from searing by about 1/4 in, I would remove the thrust block, but there is a chance I may go back to tappered later. Is it better to cut the axle instead, so that both style bearings fit regardless?

    8 3/4 hard to rotate wheels

    I am having a hard time turing one of the wheels on the recently installed rear. There are tapered bearings on the axles. It's pretty hard to free spin. I didn't see any adjusters on the bearings, any suggestions on why one wheel is so hard to turn? Also no oil in rear right now

    Low First Gear set, Will it help or hurt me?

    Im looking at "maybe" upgrading the 904 that already has all the goodies possible with a low first gear set. This is a duster with 4.10 gears and 4200 stall. The engine is a 410 stroker that should have 500-520hp. I just want to know if the benefit will do me well or nothing at all. Thanks :burnout:

    What does a 904 need to handle 500hp to the floor? Mine already has everything from COPE racing. From their clutches to their Full Manual Reverse Valve Body and I have a Dynamic Converter.

    So were trying to pull the engine and trans separate, but the engine is getting stuck on the snout of the converter. Any idea what to do? and what to do when putting it back in?

    Just ordered my 4200 9 1/2in Converter, should be at my house by memorial day and ready to put in!!!!!!! I will let you guys know how much better it is, hopefully this will allow me to lower my idel speed and do you know if I migh have to mess with timing? :/

    it ss the little cap/strap that bolts to over the u joint on the chunk universal in all rears? or is there different ones? I didnt have one for my 489 and used the one that was on my 7 1/4 havent driven it yet. Do i need a specific one? and if so where do i get it from?

    Would their be a benefit of going from 4.10 with a 28in tire to 4.30 with a 29-30in tire in the 1/4? the car is looking to be a mid to high 11second car and driven on the highway once in awhile from the track to home but no faster then 60mph

    transmission wont start in park and other stuff

    well the car wont start in park on the shifter, it needs to be like inbetween R and P or something for it too start. The other problem is that sometimes when Im in park while the car is started its still in reverse and all this other stuff. Is this a linkage problem or transmission problem?
