A good reason to not buy a car sight unseen. This car was described to me as needing quarters and a trunk spare tire well, but otherwise it was pretty much rust free. Ive got all the emails and PM saved as well as the classified add. The only panels that didnt need rust repair were the the passenger side door and fender and the hood. $2000 down the shitter. Bought right here on fabo, buyer beware. Thanks 340Plot I owned this car for 1 month. It was just way more work then I wanted...

This was the second Mopar I ever owned and the car responsible for me starting FABO. I bought it in 1997 or 98. It was a friends High School ride (we graduated in 96) I bought it with a 340-727-and 391 gears. I did a lot of stipid mods to it then spent a number of years trying to fix all the stupid mods. Eventually the motor lost oil pressure which in turn started a snow ball effect and the car was striiped to be redone. I traded in away in 2007 for a rust free 71 Scamp. The Barracuda...

The Mopar of my dreams. I found this car in 1996, The brother of a friend owned it. At the time it was F8 green, green interior and top with a 318 in it. Later he repainted a nicer shade of gree, swapped in a black interior and a 383, He offered it to me for $12000 which was more then I could afford at 21. The car got hit, went to the body shop and was repainted Panther Pink, He offered it to me for $10,000 but still more then I could afford being only 22 and living on my own...

This was probably the nicest car I ever owned. I bought it as a project from fabo member Moper in 2007 or 2008. It was a 318-auto, he changed it to a 360-od 4 speed with 355s. He also did all the rust repair. I put a ton of time into block and detailing it. I was working at a body shop at the time. Originally FE5 red, I painted it in base/clear and repaired the aftermarket sunroof hole.

I got this car in trade for the shell of my 69 Barracuda, It was rust free and very complete minus the motor and trans, I kept the 480hp 340, the built 904 and 8" converter from the Barracuda for it. I replaced the carpet and door panels in the interior, painted the engine compartment and hood and buffed the rest of the car out. It showed 22,000 miles on the odometer and looked like it was about right. I dressed the 340 up as stock looking as I could. Another car sold when money got...
