I'm looking to put 15x10 rims (4 1/4 back space) on the back of my dart. 67 dart, rear narrowed 2'' on each side, leafs moved in 3'', mini tubbed to frame rails could i put 325x50 15 tire on it? :D
Thanks
Mike

I think you'll need more backspacing, Most are running 15X10s with 7.5" backspacing with a stock rear. So if your going 2" narrower 4-1/4 wont work.

Is that 2" perside or 2" total ?

It was narrowed 2'' per side.I went on the site how to measure for wheels and it came out with 4 1/4 backspace is perfect unless I figured it out wrong.
Thanks
Mike

I could be wrong. If you go with the rim try them before mounting the tires.

The 325-50 will fit those rims fine.

If I figure the right backspace will it fit under my car?
Thanks
Mike

It should fit no problem. I have 325-50s on my car in the sig pic. 15X8.5" rim 4-7/8" backspacing, stock rear width, no mini tubbing.

If I stick with this bi of a tire I'll mini tub it and run a 15X10 with 7.5" backspacing

Yes, you can. I had a 325/50x15 on a 15x10 wheel under my car. The only thing I had different was a 4-1/2" backspacing.

scotty you rims 4.5" backspacing ? I thought they were the 6.5"?

Yeah, they are. Don't forget, he's already cut his rear 2" on each side. If he hadn't, I'd have said 6.5" backspacing. I was thinking about before, when I had mine WITHOUT the springs moved in. Now, I have 6.5" backspacing. Sorry I wasn't too clear.

No problem. I'm still trying to figure out what backspacing to go with on mine. Right now Im running a 15X8.5 with 4-7/8" backspacing. Centerline has these rims in 15X10.5" with 7.25" so I think I'll give them a shot after I mini tub it.
