1962 Lancer Battery Cables

I’m trying to get @crackedback some measurements so he can build me some new cables. I have the stock negative cable for reference but the positive cable is a generic black cable from the parts store and I don’t like the short routing.

Does anyone have pictures of the stock positive cable and how it routes for a 61-61 valiant or lancer?

My 2 cents. Have the cable go back against the firewall, cross above the steering column then up the fender apron to your battery.

Keeps it away from what looks like an exhaust pipe.

Yeah it’s got split dual Dutra manifolds. I’m not a fan of the cable suspended above the pipe as it is currently.

Beautiful, thank you sir! Looks like I'm missing that little bracket on the manifold, probably due to the dual carb intake. I appreciate the excellent pictures.
