1964 NY worlds fair license plates

Hi - I would like to find out about 1964 NY worlds fair plates. The ones I see on ebay are one diget apart apart...like the front plate would be one number higher than the rear. Is this correct?

i was taken to the NY worlds fair in 64 by my parents , i remember it well

No, both tags would have the same number for them to be a "pair".

I remember it well! My Mom would give me a ticket for it, 5 dollars & was told to be home for supper! I was 8 years old then. Now she'd be jailed for child neglect!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I believe the 64/65 NY worlds fair plates were a one plate deal.
