I have a friend that wants to sell his Barracuda. It is a 65 Formula S 4-speed car. It is an older restoration and still looks good. Asking price is $13,000. It has a 355, 8 3/4 and an overdrive 4-speed. Contact me if interested.
I got some pictures of my friends Barracuda. It was restored 13 years ago and still looks good. It has been in shows around Charleston, WV for years. He is asking $13,000 and you can drive it anywhere. Contact me for more information.
It is a stock 273 although not the orignal but the orignal engine is included. I don't want to ship anywhere.
I notice in the interior photo that this car does not have the in-dash tachometer that is supposed to be standard on these cars? I'm asking for our FABO members and others who may want to buy this vehicle if something was changed here?
I f you Will sell outside US. then I will arrange every ting with the shipping company. ( they just call to confirm the pickup location and time) And send you the money before I contact the shipping company. Thank you K-E
I don't care where it goes but need cash in hand before anything . Hopefully someone looks, buys and takes it wherever.
maybe it just has the commando motor, which is pretty common and not the formula s package. I can't see the S badge on the front fenders Still a nice cool car
It has the Formula emblems and had the wide steel wheels which are included. I can't swear to anything but for the last 14 years.
A true/factory 65 Formula S car will have the number "2" under the "C" on the fender tag. Is the fender tag there?
We need it to be dry to get it out of the barn for better pictures. The fender tag is on the car but I have not been out there to get a picture of it. It has the Fourmula S badge and the sway bar and also disc brakes.
No tach so it's not born a Formula S unless someone changed the dash, which is unlikely. But sway bars and resonators and all the S stuff was available as an option.
I need to get back out there and check the fender tag but I started the repaint on my 66 Formula S Barracuda. And yes it has a factory tach.
I had a friend whose wife would not allow him to order the formula s. However, he checked off every option in the package. The only difference was that he had no tach, no 2 in the fender tag under the c, and he had them do a fender emblem delete. It was a sleeper formulas s.
This car left the factory with every "S" option except the fast ratio manual steering. It had discs, handling package, four speed, tach, 150mph speedometer, Commando 273...
Ihat would be a cool car knowing the story. I still belive this one is a Formula S but have not been out there to check the tag.
