1965 Barracuda gas cap find

Daughter lost cap , so checked Rockauto said they had it in stock , so I received it and was too big . Went down to pep boys and handed my ID to teller and grabbed eight caps . STANT 11705 fit real nice it's a little tight but fits with no mods Hope this helps

Have you had car out yet, does it seal tight no leaking?

I believe if you file the tangs of the "too big" caps, they fit fine. I bought a new one and had to grind them about 2mm, fit fine, looks stock (but its chrome but does have a flat bar)

There is no need to grind or otherwise modify the caps I sell.

you have any raw ones? mine is not chrome and it does ok but leaks some with a full tank. also anyone know where to get the rubber gaskets? maybe I just need a new gasket. Thanks
