The 'factory-ish' (aftermarket cheepo) alternator on my 1965 Valiant (/6) needs replacement. It's drawing > 1Amp while the car is off. I'm guessing the diodes are "leaky". I already have a 70's-ish voltage regulator. So, just in the interest of 'fewer wires' I'm wondering if folks are running any alternators with a built-in regulator. I want something that is >=65Amp, I don't need >65Amps, but I have upgraded wiring so I'm not worried about using, say, a 90Amp alternator.
