They seem to be the same sizeYou need the stationary nut(s) on the evaporator or the nut(s) on the hoses?
Thanks DartmanOn the evaporator the smaller fixed nut is 3/4 and the larger one is 1 & 1/8. On the hoses, the large nuts are 1 & 1/4. Smaller nuts are 3/4 and 7/8. hope this helps
Thanks for your help .i didnt know the unit was in 2 peices .I have it out now ,Your correct i didnt need to unhook the A/C lines .Maybe this will help someone else in the futureMy 66 is an original A/C car. Its long gone now but everything is still there except the blower. I replaced the heater core awhile back. I was able to separate the two. Wish I would have taken more pictures, but it wasn't too bad. I pulled the glove box and the front passenger seat. Disconnected the electric plug, and the cables, and vacuum hoses on the right side. I remember a couple of nuts or screws that held the two sides together. Seems like you should be able to remove the heater box without pulling the A/C lines.View attachment 1715672808

Just got off the phone with Jim ,Great guy .I have been to his shop a few yrs ago ,but now we cant cross the border or i would pick it up .Glad I could help.
I emailed Jim one time a few years back for something about an order. He ended up asking about my car and asking me to send a picture. He's a great guy who loves Mopars. He certainly filled a need for gaskets of all kinds. If he doesn't already have something, and you have a usable example, he'll have you send it to him, he'll reverse engineer it, and start making them to sell. Just a great guy.
