Looking for photos on early abody 4 speed console car if you have any!
Trying to see if there’s any differences in the later 67 and up from the 66 factory consoles
Thanks

Other than woodgrain and things like a lock on the cover. Not much. I believe the 66 and 7 are the same. Auto and 4 speed are different of course.

Did 65s even have consoles?

Floor shifters, yes, but I don't ever recall seeing a console in a 65.
The seats were wider so no full length console. They had what many call a mini..badically just trim around the shifter.

My mind must be going.

The one I sold a while back, I even called it a console.

Re-read the title.

Did 66s with manual 4 speeds have anything other than the shifting bezel plate mounted on the carpet?

66 did not have wood grain top and had the groove running the full length as in the pic on left: flip up door
Why do you think that door is on that base? I have several of these not just whats picture. If you look close the one has a marker line on the inside to cut it for the fiberglass piece to be fitted. But it is not needed with the hursts shifter. The consoles will all interchange from 66-76 if you want to install one.

This one console came out of a ? Wait for it! a 71 Demon and it was there from the factory. I cut the floor out myself and it was there since the car was built. So never say never when it comes to Mopar.

I also owned a late special order1969 Coronet R/T 440 six pack 4 spd car in 1973 that they never made? And it had a fresh air hood that does not fit with the A12 intake. My son worked at the dealer where the car was ordered and the old owner of the dealership remembered the car. What a story behind that.

You can barely see the lower boot peeking out from under the console (below the steering wheel)

Laysons has upper and lower boots listed.
