I hope this will be of help to all of the convertible owners.

This is the section from the 1967 Dodge Charger Coronet Dart Service Manual.

It should apply to the 68 and 69's also.

Wow!!! Great find!!! I'm gonna be reading that puppy end to end!! I'm headed straight for this section of Nellas car, and ill be practicing on a top I have for the 66 car! Who knows, it may even come out decent!!

One top related upgrade is to reduce current load through dash top switch using relays. Below is how I rewired the top motor circuit to take a 30 amp load off of the dash switch:

Very Good Idea and diagram..

Switching grounds instead of high current voltage.

thanks for posting that is clearer than my manual!! I'm going to have to re work the top switch wiring also-- thanks for the diagram, Lawrence

Nothing new, just adapting more expensive wiring method to a low buck model. As for the diagram, simply a simple illustration by a simple guy.
