1969/1970 Dart GT emblem color? Red or Orange??

Like to know what color the Dart GT inset should be on the GT letters.. Appears to be red or orange. I plan to repaint with model paint. Just want to get as close to factory as possible. Thanks in advance.

Thats a good question. Here is a pic of my emblem which appears to be more on the orange side. 20 years ago they were NOS but cant remember if they were a brighter red
 
Is that emblem a little high on the quarter? It looks so compared to mine.

Bought from the original owner with no modifications to the body. All the 69 GT's I've come across have the emblem following the body line
 

Agreed. Just that the top pics, the emblem looks way to high. Could be just the angle of the pic.
 
The bottom of the GT emblem should sit about 3/8" above the body line with the back edge of the emblem even with the back edge of the quarter window.
 
That's correct, same as mine. I wonder if the OP knows this.
 
Found another 1970 GT that has emblem in same place as mine. Maybe its a Canadian thing?? The car in picture looks like a swinger clone.

Ok, you own a '70 GT not a '69. That makes sense 'cause your emblem is in the correct spot for a '70. Here is some more pics I found.
