70 is totally different than 68-69. 70 has a twist on oil cap, 68-69 has a push on oil cap.

If someone can post a pic of the correct VC's I will look this weekend. I may have a set that came with my 69 340 block in storage...

Here is a couple shots that may help you ID the 69 340 valve covers.

I took these pictures of the original 9K mile 340 engine just before I reinstalled it back in the GTS in 2016. The original owner had removed from the car back in 1973 and stored on a dolly under his work bench for 43 years.
