My 340 4 speed radiator core just started leaking.
Any suggestions on a replacement?

A local shop quoted $800 to record so I am looking at an aluminum

Might ask Glen Ray how much to recore.
I would have expected loca shop to be around 400 but copper prices and fuel this past couple years have driven a lot of preices up

Let me know if you want to sell your original, always looking for the correct numbers, and it will offset some of the cost of a new POS radiator...LOL

Do you have a cast iron pump or an aluminum pump? $800 is about right for a good core. Glen Ray isn't the cheapest, but you will be so happy with his work that you will forget about the price. His work is beyond approach, and one hell of a nice and trusting guy. Watch out what you buy for aluminum, and what is supposed to fit your car.
