is there a data base telling when v2 was began in 1969 and how many 340 swingers were made in this color I assume these were the first cars painted with what became known as high impact colors and was only avaible on darts

i think maybe the A12 B bodies were the first to wear v2 or ev2.
..did they came out mid '69?

coincidence part of the answer is in the post justbought all original 1969 340 swinger dealer service bulliten stating v2 is mid march 69 for darts coronets charger

The 69 1/2 A12 440 six pack lift off hood Super Bee's were amongst the first EV2 Hemi Orange cars. Actually it's a fairly common color among those cars. SPD dates on those cars start 3/29. With first production date of March 22. Dates stamped on the front of k-members are a better indication of actual production date. SPD dates are just that, Scheduled Production Dates

One the the press release magazine A12 Super Bees was Hemi Orange. So with that I'd have to say the Super Bee was the first Hemi Orange car.

You'd need the Production and Accesories report to see how many of each model (Swinger 340, GTS, 270, Custom, 170, 4 door 270, 4 door 170... Etc) were painted EV2.

... weren't the A12 road Runners released at the same time,also v2

A12 Road Runners were EK2 VitaminC Orange. A lighter non metallic Orange. Dodge did not get that color in 1969

EV2 was A12 Super Bees and then Dodge only. Plymouth did not get that color in 1969.

For 1970 of course, both brands got EK2 and EV2. Then in 1971, EK2 was dropped by both and only EV2 remained.
