[SOLD] 1970 340 Steel Crank Shortblock/accessories $1,250.00

Here is a 1970 340 out of my Friend
Gregg's (RIP) shop.

It is the steel Crank and the 496 Full floating rods.

It has all the accessories pictured including the factory HP
camshaft and double roller chain.

Also Pan/Cam-Lifters/Fuel Pump/Timing Cover/Dampener/Pulley/
Fuel pump/Motor Mts/Water pump/More. No heads or intake at this
price.

3/05/70 Date

It is still standard without a lot of miles (I miked it 4.04) and
it looks like it would clean at .020 fine in my best guess,
The cylinders have no pitsthat I have seen and only minor munge
and some surface rust theyalways get in any shop for 50 years around
a machine shop.

I will check the VIN after the 4 Wide Nationals this weekend
and Double Divisional the following week. After that
I am done racing for 5 months or maybe forever!!!

I do not know a thing about it other than what I can see
looking at it. I have sold nice standard blocks that were mine
for that much!

If it was mine, I could give you complete details = But it would
be twice as much in price or even more.

That is why I have priced it for such a low price and
it is AS IS and sold as a core and I understand that
it is a bit of a gamble like most used engines.

It does not appear to have a lot of miles on it.

I will deliver it for free in So. Cal or So Nevada or
take it to the races next couple of weeks for delivery.
I will pallet and take it to shippers for Free if needed.
