1971 Dodge Dart- Extra new 360 Engine & 727 TCI Trans w/ matching T/C

Answering many questions first. Sorry I’m not parting out the car, or selling the extra engine and Trans. Don’t mean to come off as rude, I really don’t have time answering every call from those who choose NOT to read the whole ad…

RE: Pictures I’m placing a link to my Dropbox, because of the insane amount I have, and will answer anything you want, I’m not a problem hider. If you want more detail.. ill do my best to send you more pictures… but hey, it’s still a 50 year old Dart. With a big engine…
You might have to cut and paste the link...

Dropbox - 1971 Dart - Simplify your life

Highlights: Has all the running gear, for what it’s worth… But, that being said, people are looking for a good /6…. Good trading stock! It drove into storage, and stayed covered there for 15 + years. Not going into insane detail, I’m letting the picture’s do the talking. I’ve taken some things off for the pictures, but have since put them back on.

Background: I already have BB Dart, and ran out of storage room for any more projects! So I’m selling all of it, passing it along! She ain’t a virgin, but complete (give or take) 50 year old Dart’s are getting harder to find that aren’t completely stripped, or a rot box.

Highlights: it’s almost a complete car. It hasn’t been scavenged re: hard parts. Has Glass Fenders that fit perfect. Incredibly solid doors, which shut with a perfect click! It has the typical rust in the usual places, but very workable, everything needing replacement, aftermarket makes it, and surprisingly no rust in places you expect to see it! Body and Character lines are very straight! Vinyl top was removed.. but without showing the typical pin holes…pretty solid! Trunk in good shape as well. The tire well bottom is a little rusty, but not rotted out. The Org. Back Light is intact without cracks, and engine will turn! Put a jump box on it, turn the key…and almost everything electrical Works!

Lowlights: No hood, the Seats & Carpet are gone, the rest of interior is intact.. Both Foot Wells… gone. The windshield has a “Soft Ball” dent in it, thanks to my son. (He’s still alive). And under the driver’s side floor, you can see part of the Cross member and Torsion Bar is rotted, so it has a bit of a sag. But just on that side. But again, really on the whole…The underbody over all…very good in all the right places… very workable and not that complicated to fix… kinda hurts to let go!

The “Spare Engine”: Is a “1995” (NEVER RUN) stock spec, NOS. 360 Magnum. It was a crate motor…but not quite. It’s just the untouched Bare Block, Rotating assembly, and (2) complete heads, that’s all. No pan, manifold, W/P, rocker covers, cam/gears or O/P. So you’re free to do what you want! Works best going to the Popular Stroker 408.. All U need are the crank, rods and oil pan! Oh, and a cam…That’s about it! No block machining needed! That’s the beauty of the Magnum block!

The Trans: It’s a TCI built 727 - 600 bph “Street Fighter” W/ MVB, W/ TCI (#142200) Custom “2030 Stall” (balanced) T/C. (no flex plate) Has about 600 miles on it.

I could have made SO much more parting it out, But, I’m selling it as a complete package, sorry…no exceptions! And yes, it’s still just a Dart. I’m not selling it to make money on this deal… because actually… I’m not! Asking $3,950 pretty firm!

Conservative… part out estimate $7,000+

Thanks for the interest!
