1971 Dodge Dart Swinger

36,000 original miles, well just turned over last week, has a few more now.
Slant six, auto, power steering and brakes.
Located in Schenectady, NY.

$15,500.

This is my car, registered in my name and driven by me, and the wife on occasion.

I recently replaced the tailpipe, directional flasher, and put on 4 new tires. The gas gauge stopped working after this winter, and the other day the directional indicator light on the dash went out. The brakes work great; however, they pull a little to the left.

It is completely original except for the items mentioned above, and probably the battery. It was sold new in the same city I live in and then sat for a number of years. I’ve known about this car for many years and bought it a few years ago.

I’ll let the pictures do the talking, however I will highlight the minor issues that I would want to be aware of when buying a car. There are four minor rust spots: one directly behind the driver’s side rear tire, one behind the passenger rear tire close to the panel below the bumper. The other two are in front of both rear tires, and they do not appear to be rusted through.

There are minor scratches, tiny surface rust spots, two tiny dings in the rear bumper, and what appears to be a mark from an animal relieving itself on the hood. The vinyl top has three minor areas with issues.

This Swinger retains all of its markings, stickers, (tire pressure, emissions, jacking instructions, etc.), trunk accessories, (jack, trunk mat, cardboard, etc.), and I found the buildsheet today, even though I wasn’t looking for it.

For sale locally as well.

Super Sweet!!! I'm guessing the build sheet is for that car? Fender tag pic?

I grew up in Schenectady and had a gold '72 Swinger 318 auto!

Yes, buildsheet is for this car. Strange how it was behind the aluminum trim.

No thank you, I appreciate the offer, looking for a straight sale.

It's got the felt on the jack bracket, didn't know that should even be there, and stuff I definitely don't have on my earlier car under the weatherstrip.
Plus a few factory 'mistakes.'
