1971 Plymouth Scamp (Grimace), $14,900 OBO
Located in Twin Cities, MN

3750 miles since rebuild on almost all components of the car.

I purchased the car in 2012, stripped it down to the shell and spent the next year rebuilding it. Many upgrades and new parts installed at that time. 318 was pulled and I had a 360 built along with the trans. Rear end was upgraded to large bolt pattern. New front windshield (1 year old), new larger rubber all around 1 year ago. This is a solid reliable driver. I have taken this on road trips across Minnesota and would not be afraid to go further.

It will eventually need body work, rockers and quarters (has blistering starting now), headliner tightened. I also messed up the upper rear wheel lip on both sides trying to fit tires with the wrong back spacing on. I have patch panels for that section if you choose to just do those.

Car is always stored indoors and has never been driven in the winter (while I owned it). It is currently stored for the winter and its not easy to get pictures. If there is something you would like to see, or would like to know any other info about the car let me know and I’ll do my best.

Here is some of the info about my car LA360, Magnum Heads, Airgap Intake, Comp XE268H cam, Edelbrock AVS2 650 carb, making 380hp and 420tq. TTI headers and 2.5” exhaust, Dynamax Mufflers, 727 trans (TF2 kit), Edge racing converter set up to car with 2800 stall, 8-3/4” rear end with 3:23 gears and suregrip, Speedhut custom gauges, line lock, driveshaft hoop, front disk, PST 1.01 torsion bars, fully rebuilt front end, PST Bilstein shocks, factory hood scoop, a bunch of extra parts, book of receipts, manuals and general paper work and spreadsheet of all part #’s in engine and replacement items.
