While I have the engine out, thinking about getting rid of the fender well headers (I really don't like them). Any recommendations on what would work to replace them? I know I will have to weld in some patches and repaint engine compartment but...

are the fenderwell headers rusty? if not make sure to remove them carefully so you can sell them to recoup some of the cost of decent headers like from tti. sit down before looking up their prices though, lol.
 
Haven't done much on the Duster since discovering the engine is frozen. I did, however, install some new rear tires on her last week. I picked them up from a friend of a friend who bought them but could no use them due to the size - 33x21-1/2x15's. They are exactly what the car had on it before.

I should be getting a lift in my shop in the next few days which will kick off some serious work time :)
