Selling my 1971 Plymouth Scamp. Purchased from original owner 16 months ago. Very original, with most of the original parts that were removed included in boxes in the trunk! 318/2bbl Rochester - Carb was rebuilt and rejetted in Sep - 12. 904 trans, 8 3/4 (2.76) stock. Rear suspension all new in Sep - 12. Would not take much to get this Windsor, Canada Scamp back to factory fresh appearance. 59K true miles. Factory A/C. Some rust on quarters, but this is a very solid car, with exceptional glass, trunk and floorboards, seals, weatherstripping, and paint. Comes with buildsheet and does have factory wheel covers. Asking 6000.00. Just got a '68 Dart, so the Scamp needs a new home. Located in Topeka, KSView attachment IMAG0247-2.jpg

I've got some close up's of this damage and will gladly add pics as soon as I can get in to my desktop. Son's asleep in there. But thanks for adding your post and trying to trash my credibility as a seller. I hope you are a potential buyer and not just some Consumer Guardian out crapping on people's rides.

Good luck with the sale,

Just thought it's a funny coincendence. Your getting rid of a 71 Scamp cause you bought a 68 Dart.
Thats exactly what I did about 6 years ago.

Thats a very slick 270. Thanks for the support. I really hate having to try to sell it, wanted to keep it so two MoPars for two sons, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards right now. Dart is a real honey though, with 45,000 original, slant six, bucket console car. Had owners manual, build sheet, service records, and certicard. View attachment 7241880.jpg

Dang thats a sweet looking Dart. Mine also has the blue interior, but had bench seat and was a /6 car. Now it has the 318, 8-3/4, K-frame, and the disk brakes from the scamp. (I parted out my scamp).

how did that disc brake conversion go? I took a set of discs off of a '71 Scamp parts car and intend on putting them on this Dart.

it was a piece of cake, but I had the master cyl, all the brake lines, metering block, etc off the other car so I had everything I needed right there.
