My foot pump rubber was deteriorated and split in half , I found that the mustang rubber for that washer pump is reproduced and the same size as Mopar on the Duster , I hope someone else has done this , question is I can get all the pieces inside the boot easy enough but should it be sealed to the flat piece that has the threads with some type of sealant and or is there an o-ring that goes on between the threads an the bottom fitting that the lines go on , just want it sealed properly and know there has to be something

If you want to buy a good used Mopar pump portion for that send me a pm. MoparMatt is converting mine to a electric momentary switch so I can use an electric pump but with a foot actuator, so I won't need the pump, only the housing.

I will keep it in mind (price?) but I have this one working with the new rubber as it was a perfect fit , had a small leak at metal bracket but think it wasnt secure enough , and was thinking it just needs some sealant at bottom of boot or O-ring , its a simple design , spring and plastic fitting inside with the other fitting on outside , as the picture shows the new boot was a perfect match

$15 plus postage. After stripping, derusting and painting my floor pan, I just couldn't take the risk of a small but persistent leak undoing all that work, so I opted to keep the washer fluid outside the cabin...
