I have a 1972 Duster for sale. Originally from Texas. The car has a great running 318 engine. Power steering, manual brakes, car starts, steers, stops, and drives very nice. Interior needs work, carpet, seats, etc. Black vinyl top is beautiful original, trim also is really nice. Factory A/C car, all the components are still on the car but needs serviced. Fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid, and wheel openings are all solid. Floors have some scaling, but no holes, lower 1/4's show small rust. Spare tire well has some rust and have new complete trunk pan that comes with car. Very clean southern car with minimum rust issues, priced right, drive and restore!
PM me for additional pictures. Asking $5850.00 Car located in Plum PA 15239

this is a great starter piece for a big block or Hemi project.....just say'n

I want it....I could fly back, visit my family in Fawn TWP & Lower Burrell and hang out there for the summer until it cools down here in PHX. Drive my "new" bad *** Duster home to the desert where it belongs! Maybe I could just trailer back a couple of truck loads of rust free sheet metal to help pay for it.

It does run really good.

Nice car --- I have a car similar to this one - mine is the same exterior color(GY8) and same stripe color(black), but different interior colors (saddle/chestnut), 1971 factory Duster 340, column shift automatic with Light and Decor packages. Had mine for more than 10 years.

Ironically mine has the front bench/center arm rest - and has an issue with the passenger side backrest. Whenever we pivot the passenger backrest forward via the release handle/button, the backrest seems to get off-track, and will not return to it's proper return location. It gets off-track/off center.

I'm ready to take the front seat out of the car, to determine what is causing the problem. Any thoughts of where to look and what to look for?

Best of luck with the sale ...this is a GOOD deal for someone...

I think there is just one cable running from drivers side to passenger side. are you sure the cable is on the latch on the passenger side?

Thats a good question. I have not taken the seat out of the car.

The backrest on the passenger side gets completely off-track when I pivot the passenger backrest forward to allow anyone to get access to the backseat.

It looks like the entire passenger backrest needs to come off to determine what is mis-aligned or not engaging?

Does the factory service manual show a detailed exploded view of the center arm rest and the front seat/passenger backrest components?

Man, I like that car.

Too far away, and I just bought TWO cars three weeks ago.

Good luck with sale.

someone wanted close up pick of lower 1/4's and the understand.
