Hey guys had air passing through my 1972 Plymouth Scamp windshield.
It seems like its coming from the top. Windshield was cracked so had a new one installed but still does the same thing. Do I need to use more sealant around the edges?
    Any suggestions?

I have a '72 Scamp also . New windshield and gasket , leaks like a sieve . The installer didn't use ANY sealer . Asshat ! You need to use sealer all around the gasket and in the corners where there is no coverage . Yup , myne has to come out . No one up here knows what they're doing .

I guess I’m going to have to remove the top molding that seems to be where the problem is but it’s pretty annoying when your going down the road.

The new glass is not as thick...when the guy did my dart he ran a thin strip of butal tape inside the gasket

Correct , the new glass is not as thick . however, "3M" automotive glass sealer will do the same thing . I know it's expensive ($25.00 tube) but why cheap out and have a leaking windshield ?
