With my recent retirement, I have decided to thin the herd and standardize on the breed. With the majority of my cars having the 350sbc/TH350 setup, the lone Mopar has been identified as one that needs to go.
I purchased the car about 12 years ago from the original owner and have the original window sticker, dealer pamphlets and fender tag. I have the #'s matching engine and heads, minus intake/carb.
The engine is a fresh 340 with an XE262 Comp cam and 2.02 J heads from Mopars of Texas. Factory 1973 exhaust manifolds and nice period correct Torker 340 intake. The distributor is an NOS Direct Connection unit with a Mancini Racing ECU. Radiator has been recored and a third row added. Motorhome clutch fan and original shroud in place. I have video of the break in of the engine.
The original transmission was blown up and discarded by the original owner. The transmission is an 18 spline Hemi trans that is fresh and was converted to small block input and A body output by Brewer Performance in Ohio. New flywheel, McCleod clutch, throw-out bearing and poly trans mount. Hurst Competition shifter with billet mount rebuilt by Hurst Corp. in the 90's. Stock driveshaft needs new u-joints.
The rear end is a Ford 9 inch with a new Trac Loc posi unit and 3.50 Richmond ring and pinion. New leaf springs, shocks, U bolts. Needs the brakes finished.
The build has included all new front suspension with boxed lower control arms and upgraded bushings. All new front brakes including master cylinder and stainless brakes lines.
New fuel tank with all stainless fuel lines.
Interior is all original except I had the front bucket seats recovered and replaced the rear package tray. No cracks in the dash and features the fold down rear seat option. Dynamat on floors and inside doors as well as headliner and trunk floor. Needs carpet and headliner to complete interior.
Paint and bodywork were professionally done at A-1 Refinishing in Sebringville, Ontario, Canada by Gerald Schneider (RIP buddy). Original doors, fenders, hood and trunk lid. Factory hood decal is painted instead of a decal. Never seen rain. Undercarriage has been sandblasted and treated with POR13.
I have receipts for most of the items and hundreds of photos of the build process to date. The car is not finished although it is very very close. Exhaust needs finished, rear brakes, driveshaft, tires and that's about it other than the debugging that will naturally need to occur after the car has been this far apart for this long. It was last on the road in about 1992. The car is currently stored in a car trailer here at my house in W. Michigan and I will remove it for interested parties. As mentioned, I have alot of photos and videos of the build that I can share with serious buyers. The photo in the add with the Canadian flag in the background is from April 2013 when I brought it home.
Price is $23,500 as is.
