1973 Dart Swinger, 2 door, 318/904, 8.25 rear with 3.55 sure grip.

Drivetrain: 318 out of a 73 Duster. Has approximately 80k miles on the motor. No motor modifications. Runs well. No funny noises, smoke or run issues. Replaced the carb a few years ago. New cap, rotor, ign wires and plugs. Also has newer water pump and fan clutch. Trans is the original (as far as I know) 904. Shifts fine but does have a leak from the bell housing area. Been leaking a bit for quite some time but just haven’t gotten around to fixing it. Hasn’t gotten worse, so haven’t worried about it. Rear is an A body 8.25 with a 3.55 gear and a sure grip. Newer driveshaft and u joints. Dual exhaust with small, quiet, turbo mufflers that dump in front of rear. Fuel lines, rad hoses, heater hoses, etc all replaced. Newer poly motor mounts and trans mount.

Brakes/Suspension/Steering: Suspension completely rebuilt/upgraded. QA1 upper and lower control arms and strut rods, PST 1.03” torsion bars, Hotchkiss leaf springs. Hellwig front and rear sway bars. Newer KYB Gas A Just shocks all around. K frame was seam welded and gusseted, particularly by steering box mounts to stiffen. Borgeson quick ratio steering box with new PS pump and lines. Tie rod ends and all steering joints replaced. Brakes are factory power disk/drums. New rotors, pads up front. New spring kit out back. All rubber lines replaced about 2 years ago.

Wheels/Tires: BBP 17x8 polished Torq Thrust II’s with 245/45/17 Falken Azeni FR510’s.

Body: Clean and straight. Minimal rust (see pics) overall. Mostly isolated to the lower rear quarters. See pics for details. Floor and trunk solid. Both front floors have been patched. I cut out the rust, welded in steel patches, painted and seam sealed. Car was originally gray/silver with white top. Previous owner had repainted in b5 blue and replaced the white vinyl top. It’s not a high dollar/show paint job but it shows well. Believe that was done approximately 6-7 years ago. Door jambs, trunk and underhood are all blue but clearly painted separately. Can see some slight bumps under the top at the quarter/roof seam. Has been there since I bought the car, hasn’t gotten worse. Recently replaced all of the wiper bushings and seals.

Interior: Nice shape overall. Left A pillar panel missing, some degradation of the “wood” on the gauge cluster (See pics). Seat covers very nice. Appears that some parts of the interior were replaced and dyed blue to match. Again, not show car perfect but overall looks good. A bit of sag to the springs on the drivers side of the front seat. Not bad by any means, but it is there.

Overall, the car is a ton of fun. It looks great and with the suspension, steering and tire upgrades, it drives and handles extremely well.

Car is located in Rockville, MD, just northwest of Washington, DC. $16,500
