Ford Fairmonts are the progenitor or the 5.0 Mustang. All that wonderful inexpensive, readily available Mustang stuff bolts on!

This is a very solid car, and would be a GREAT choice to make a hotrod out of. Heck it gets compliments and its stock! You will save a ton of time and energy because of the parts this already has.
It is a 4 speed, 4 cyl, bucket seat, manual steering, no AC car. Basically the only option is cruise...and it still works (and so does everything else)! It fits a 27*10 slick with NO mods!

It is factory manual transmission, so the pedals and hole in the tranny hump for 5 speed are already there and OEM style. It is a 2.3 4 cyl, so if you don't want to buy a K-member, a smoll block Ford V8 will drop right in. It is already manual steering (also factory, and brand new) so no need to buy a $300 rack. Factory buckets, so no converting from bench, and Mustang seats will bolt right in if you don't like the stock style deals.

It is all stock, except that it already has a beefy Ford 8.8 rear end in it (7.5 is stock on the Fairmont). So there's another couple hundred $$ and some work saved.

The car is very solid. Paint is not in great shape. Shiny but has flaws. Incredibly little rust. The passenger side rear door has a little bit of stuff on the bottom (but its not all eaten up by any stretch). Other than that its great. Floors are mega solid, ditto around the tire well and the hatch. The front footwells (which always get eaten up on these cars) are basically mint.

Car runs and drives. Don't know if I would chance taking it on a couple hundred mile trip across the country but I have driven it a fair amount. Gets good mileage.

Carpet could stand to be replaced, no headliner, plastic stuff in cargo area is faded.

Car weighs 2840 lbs with steel wheels, no driver, and 1/4 tank of gas (with spare, 8.8, all stock).

BOGART WHEELS DO NOT COME WITH IT It has some stock wheels and tires that go with the car.

$2500 obo!
