Can I use (initially) exhaust manifolds. Going to try to install engine 4spd trans soon.
Seems like stock magnum exhaust manifolds in way of driverside motor mount?

Please inform what may be necessary.....

Thanks dave

Treblig is the Magnum manifold specialist here. Send him a PM ,or see if he chimes in.

I'm using magnum manifolds in my 68 Barracuda. Passenger side is no problem. The driver's side is a PITA. Mine has manual steering. I shimmed the motor mount 3/16" up, shortened the steering column housing (not absolutely necessary) and used an aftermarket steering coupler from ebay. I have a 2001 5.2 coupled to the original 904 and the 2001 mini-starter. In my 71 Dart with power steering I used a 72 340 left side manifold coupled with a magnum on the right. If you use the serpentine setup with power steering get a pump bracket from a van. It positions the pump lower and out of the way of the battery tray.
