2001 Camaro/Cuda - craigslist

I second the WHY!

If your going to invest 30K why not just build a real cuda that might be worth more when its done.

The guy wanted to make a cookie cutter Camaro into something different and cooler than a Camaro and yall beat on him. Classy. How much does a new Cuda cost? Oh yeah, they don't make um.

Good lord you'd think he'd at least go for a semi boxier body to begin, it looks like the car was in the crusher and then he slapped some fenders and a grille on it

Well I could understand if the guy took a new gen camaro and put say a gen II body on it (Gen I would be tough due to size), but to put a Mopar design on a Chevy is just wrong.. I applaud his imagination and innovation but IMO it is too off base. Yes I am parochial and prefer band loyalty, however I do understand the draw to use LS drive trains in streetrods.

I did have a 94 camaro for a short time, it had a 3.4 chevy motor and ran great and handled fantastic but it wasn't a LS motor

It definitely makes you do a double take. I’m not sure why anyone would go through the effort to do that, but.....not my car.

Somebody has more energy than me for sure!

Looking at this thing pleases me about as much as looking at girls with tattoos covering > half of their bodies. ( zilch).

It was for sale awhile back. I don't want it and I wouldn't build it. But it's cool and looks like they did a pretty good job with it.
