I pulled this 225 slant 6 out of my '62 Valiant when I stuffed in a V8, and it has been sitting in my shed for about 10 years (always kept dry). It ran really well, and had a valve job shortly before I purchased it. It didn't seem to use any oil to speak of, had maybe around 55,000 miles on the bottom end, and had good compression on all cylinders. No rod knocks or main bearing noise. Complete with distributor, carburetor, alternator, manifolds, engine mounts, etc. which are not mounted to the engine at this time.
I'd like to get $200 for this engine. It would be a "pick-up only" near Sacramento, California.
