225 slant 6 rod cap

Hey guys I am needing one rod cap for a 225. If no one has a spare I will try to buy one complete rod. Thanks

You'r going to spend more money getting it sized for your rod than 1 rod would cost. I might have one. I can look tomorrow and send a PM if I have one.

Yeah you might be right. I just picked up this 71 dart with a slant six was going to change it out for a v8 but it is the original motor so I think I will leave it as is.

The other rods look great its a shame the guy lost intrest in the dart and just lost track of the parts as every thing was scattered in two different sheds, found everything but one rod cap and the distributer. May also be intrested in a camshaft some time if someone has one laying around.

How much for a complete rod? Just had some 360 rods resized I think they were 10.00 a piece. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Unless you do them all you might end up with one shorter than the rest. I would just get another rod, somebody probably has a free one.
