    the car is a four speed... What is a crankshaft register ? Let me know and I will measure for you...

    That's where the snout on the front of your tranny fits in the back of your engine crank shaft.

    The crankshaft register is the machined pocket of the rear crankshaft flange. The early 273's 62-67 have the small diameter register. The input shaft of the transmission locates inside the register. 65'

    Ok well this is the original motor and the pilot bushing is regular size... I have to run a 6cyl. clutch...

    OK... the car is a 1965 dodge dart gt. 273cid. 4spd. 2 bbl. The car is all original, numbers matching...

      Somebody will say it anyway so I will be the first: The engine may be original to the car but it is not "numbers matching" That didn't start until sometime in 1968.
      69's had vin's stamped in the blocks.

        Casting numbers for LA engines. 64-67 is forged 68 and all other 273, 318, 340 have same part number.

        Its never been cut and looks good. I can take pictures later today. I really wouldn't want to ship it, so I was wondering where you were located?

          I need 200 plus the ride. I paid that for it a year ago and havent had it magnifluxed to verify it's condition.

          I think if I would buy it, I would have it shipped.. UPS will ship it if it's not over 75lbs...
