2bbl - Super Six ?

Hi guys, what year did the 2bbl start on these engines? Were they all dubbed "super sixes" witht he 2bbl or were there some "plain clothed" versions? When does the head change to the non-plug tubes?

72 was the last for the tubes i think and 76 was the start of the 2bbl

last year for the drool tube heads was 74. first year for the 2bbl super six was 77.

They also had super sixes in the early-mid sixties. I was reading (somewhere) that they had a 1 bbl (regular), 2 bbl (super six), and 4 bbl (hyper six). If I remember correctly, it was like 66.

The hyperpaks weren't made that late. The "super six" didn't start until 1977. The early 225's were called "super 225" not super six. They were just the standard 225 1bbl engine.
