[Found!] 3.91 or 4.10 Ring and Pinion for 741 Case

Hello,
I’m looking for 3.91 or 4.10 ring and pinion gears for the 741 case. It appears that 3.73 is the lowest ratio available I could find new. Located in Michigan.

How about getting a 489 case, the different Gear ratios are much more plentiful for those. The 489 gear sets are much stronger too.

And the 489 case goes right into the 8 3/4 rear ends, and use the same axles.

I’m very familiar with the different cases. I own a 489 case already but it has a 4.30 spool in it for my 71. As the ad stated I’m looking for a ring and pinion for a 741 case. The setup in my 72 will not break the pinion in the 741 case.

I’m looking for a gear so my oldest brother can race my 72 at the Mopar nationals in August. We haven’t been since we were kids and decided that our summer vacation would be a trip to the nationals with him running my 72 Duster and me in the 71. I have the 741 with the 3.23 sg currently so if I can just change the ring and pinion it will be quite a bit of savings to me.

I have a 3:91 that just came out of my 471 case. Like new condition.
